Appearance[edit | edit source]
Michelle has the deities' signature dark skin and white hair, which she wears into pigtails. Her eyes are green with dark pupils, indicating that she is a half-blooded deity.
Personality[edit | edit source]
Michelle is a self-serving individual, even when she was young; she attempted to leech money off the Warriors that visited them before Luna tricked her into claiming she wouldn't. When she and Luna reunite after the war, the first thing Michelle does is tease Luna for getting into a difficult situation before finally helping her.
After getting caught by a Warrior some time off-screen, she agrees to betray Luna to the Warriors. While she did attempt to warn Luna by using a secret phrase, Luna had forgotten about it and the warning was lost on her.
Plot[edit | edit source]
Before the Spring War[edit | edit source]
In her first appearance, she attempts to mooch money off of some Warriors who had come to her for healing. Luna and Robin catch her in the act and force her to stand down, this but event contributes to the jealousy and resentment from humans towards the deities. Soon after, the Spring War breaks out and the deities that aren't slain are forced into hiding.
Witch Spring[edit | edit source]
Michelle is in a prison cell when Pieberry wakes up after getting ambushed at Durok Temple. She reveals that she betrayed Luna and gave herself up to the Warriors for her own safety, much to her regret.
During post-game, she appears in Vavelia Village, standing next to Luna. (She has dialogue, but ever since the Illust Remaster update, speaking to her will cause the game to freeze and crash.)
Witch Spring 2[edit | edit source]
Abilities[edit | edit source]
From a young age, Michelle learned to use healing magic, perhaps from Durok. Even ten years after the Spring War, she makes it clear that she has not learned any offensive magic and has no interest in doing so either, despite the danger of Warriors. This comes to backfire on her later, as she is captured by Warriors and is left with no means of escaping them.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In an earlier build of the game, Michelle's portrait was used as her prologue child portrait. In the final game, the portrait was used for her teenage appearance, and she has no child portrait at all.
